INN: Your Daily News - Heroes Brave Abandoned Non-human Colony

Announcer:
You have been listening to Imperial News Network, News That’s Fair and Balanced and Definitely Not Just Propaganda from the Ruling State. Earlier today, a team of contractors returned from Nestus II-Settlement at Pyramid Glade to report that the colony has been abandoned and the environment found to be inhospitable for humanoid life-forms. INN Special Reporter Bogart was on the scene at the Trianni planet of Nestus II to talk with the leader of the expedition Vor-um as they recuperated from their travails.
Bogart:
So, all your group are recent transports to the outer rim, what brought you together for this potentially dangerous expedition?
Vor-um:
(dropping his voice low to not be recognized on the radio by family members):
Money mostly. (laughs) Kidding, of course. I think that more than anything we took the mission out of an abiding sense of loyalty to Palpatine and out of concern for the livelihood of his subjects.
Bogart:
But how did your disparate group join up? We checked through what records we could find and saw no connection between members of your group.
V:
Well that’s a funny story, Bogart. We met while staying at an Inn and Public House on Breathe. While retiring for the night, we were set upon by bandits from insert name of gang. My Wookiee manservant and I (RAWRLARRRR) bravely fought off the attackers and those who were not captured in the attack were so inspired by my leadership that they nearly begged to join forces and take on the worst threats to the galaxy. Like the Rebel Alliance, should the opportunity arise.
Bogart:
So what makes that a funny story? You met in a tavern…
V:
Exactly.
Bogart:
And this specific assignment?
V:
Mel the Governor of Breathe (sic) rewarded our team for fighting off the bandit raid party and asked if we would be interested in investigating the disappearance of a party of Vainini (sic) Rangers on Nestus II. Perhaps a little drunk off the rush from our earlier success, or perhaps because we could find little better to do, we jumped at the opportunity. We commandeered a ship from a… uh… wealthy donor, and made our way to Nestus II and Pyramid Glade.
Bogart:
Fascinating, and walk us through what you found there.
V:
Shortly after arriving we found the abandoned redacted of the Rangers’ squad and were set upon by redacted. We followed tracks into redacted, where we had to destroy redacted and entered into some ancient redacted. (According to official transcripts, the next few minutes there was some general interference in the transmission causing most of the interview to be lost, but occasional words slipped through, including ‘damn hairy apes,’ ‘and then I said, ‘there’s no Empire but Palpatine’s,’’ ‘labcoat,’ and ‘seven pointed crown’)
Bogart:
Any plans for the future?
V:
First and foremost we still need to pick up our pay for this mission, but it’s an age of adventure and in general we plan to seek it out. We’re definitely curious about what our lab-coated adversary had plotted. Not that we are planning to investigate that in any of the public records.
Bogart:
That goes without saying.
V:
Obviously

Welcome to your Adventure Log!
A blog for your campaign

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.
